HotMess Sports strives to provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and fun space for all players, spectators, and friends of the league. Therefore, all members of our community should conduct themselves to uphold the principles and reputation of the league and act with fairness and integrity toward others whether on or off the field. HotMess Sports expects members to uphold these values by embodying the following:
Set a positive example for others and have an encouraging attitude towards everyone involved in league activities.
Accept team victories and losses, as well as personal successes and failures, with equal amounts of respect for others and themself.
Treat opponents and teammates with due respect at all times before, during, and after games.
Safeguard the physical well-being of all players, avoid rough or dangerous play, and help injured players.
Show due respect towards umpires and referees and accept the decisions of umpires without protest.
Always have regard for the best interests of others involved in the league, including when publicly expressing an opinion on a game or any particular aspect of it.
Know and abide by a). The rules of the game; and b). The spirit of good sportsmanship.
Do not become excessively drunk or participate in illegal activities while either a). At league functions; b). Wearing HotMess-branded apparel; or c). Operating in any capacity where you are seen as a member of the league.
Adhere to the HotMess Sports’ policies and guidelines.
